Comments or Questions you would like considered:
If I am selected to receive a SMUworks grant, I acknowledge the following:
* I understand that it is my responsibility to advertise my positon, and that if no suitable candidate is found after two searches, the Financial Aid & Awards team may decide to reallocate my funding.
* I understand that preferred candidates are not allowed. I will give fair and equal consideration to all eligible applications received, and if a student fails to complete all parts of the SMUworks application, their resume and cover letter will not be included in the application package I receive from Financial Aid & Awards.
* I understand that payroll paperwork must be submitted to Financial Aid & Awards (MM108) before the student begins working. This program is intended to provide financial stability to students with significant need, and it is therefore crucial that their payroll information is submitted in a timely manner. Failure to submit a students’ paperwork will result in my ineligibility to receive a SMUworks grant in the future.
